1. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1. Depending on the quality, animal fat is divided into two grades: the first and second.1.2. Animal feed fat must be produced in accordance with the requirements of this standard according to the current technological instructions, in compliance with the veterinary and sanitary rules approved in the prescribed manner. 1.3. To prevent oxidative processes of fat, it is treated with an antioxidant. 1.4. According to organoleptic and physico-chemical parameters, animal feed fat must meet the requirements specified in the table. Note . The mass fraction of unsaponifiable substances and the melting point of fat are determined only at the request of the consumer. (Changed edition, Amendment No. 1).

2. ACCEPTANCE RULES

2.1. Acceptance rules and the volume of samples of animal feed fat - according to GOST 8285-91. Section. 2. (Changed edition, Rev. No. 2).

3. TEST METHODS

3.1. To check the quality of fat, sampling rules and test methods in accordance with GOST 8285-91 and GOST 11254-85 should be applied.

4. PACKAGING, LABELING, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

4.1. Animal feed fat is packed in strong, clean, dry wooden jellied barrels in accordance with GOST 8777-80 with a capacity of not more than 200 dm3, made of wood of any species, or in steel barrels in accordance with GOST 6247-79. Before pouring fat into wooden barrels, polyethylene-cellophane bags-liners should be placed; in their absence, barrels are used, treated on the inside with a layer of liquid glass according to GOST 13078-81 or subjected to general steaming or washing. When reused, the container must be cleaned and disinfected. (Changed edition, Amendment No. 1). 4.2. By agreement between suppliers and consumers, it is allowed to drain and transport fat by rail and truck tanks. 4.3. Fat is poured into the container in a molten state with filling the entire capacity of the container, and polyethylene-cellophane bags are firmly closed with a special lock. 4.4. Transport marking is carried out in accordance with GOST 14192-96, indicating additional data: a) the name of the manufacturer, its location; b) subordination; c) the name and grade of fat; d) net and gross weights; f) date of production; g) designation of this standard; h) type of antioxidant. (Changed edition, Amendment No. 2). 4.5. Animal feed fat is transported in accordance with the instructions and rules in force for this type of transport. 4.6. Packaging, labeling, transportation of animal feed fat shipped to the Far North and hard-to-reach areas - according to GOST 15846-79. (Changed edition, Amendment No. 2). 4.7. Fat is stored in a closed, dry room at a temperature not exceeding 20°C. Shelf life - 6 months. from the moment of manufacture.

1.1. Edible animal rendered fats, depending on the processed raw materials and product quality, are divided into types and varieties:

beef, mutton, pork, horse, bone - the highest and first grades and combined.

1.2. Rendered edible animal fats must be produced in accordance with the requirements of this standard, according to technological instructions in compliance with sanitary rules for meat and poultry processing enterprises, approved in the prescribed manner.

1.3. For the production of edible animal rendered fats, adipose tissue of slaughtered cattle (raw fat) and bone from the processing of meat and by-products are used, obtained at meat processing plants, food processing plants, canning and meat processing plants and approved by veterinary and sanitary supervision for processing for food purposes. For the production of combined fat, it is allowed to use fat obtained by cooking meat raw materials, offal, as well as in the production of products from pork, beef and lamb.

1.4. Edible animal rendered fats intended for long-term storage may be treated with butylated hydroxytoluene, butylated hydroxyanisole, or other antioxidants approved by the USSR Ministry of Health.

1.5. According to organoleptic and physico-chemical indicators, edible animal rendered fats must meet the requirements specified in Table 1.

1.5a. For the production of dairy products for baby food pork fat of the highest grade is used with an acid number of not more than 0.7 mg KOH, with a mass fraction of lead not more than 0.1 million, copper not more than 0.4 million, organochlorine pesticides; HCCH not more than 0.2 ppm, DDT not more than 0.2 ppm

1.6. For industrial processing, combined fat with a greenish tint and the smell of burnt greaves or spices and smoked meats is allowed.

1.7. For the margarine industry, combined fat is used only in white color, and bone fat of the highest grade is used only with a melting point of 25 to 44 ° C.

1.8. When two antioxidants are used together, their total amount in fat should not exceed the established norm.

2. RULES OF ACCEPTANCE AND TEST METHODS

2.1. Edible animal rendered fats are accepted in batches.

Acceptance rules - according to GOST 8285-91.

Test methods - according to GOST 8285-91, GOST 11254-85, GOST 26931-86, section 2, GOST 26932-86, GOST 26929-94, section 3; determination of organochlorine pesticides - according to the methods approved by the Ministry of Health of the USSR.

The transparency in units of the scale of the photoelectric colorimeter and the mass fraction of antioxidants are periodically determined by the manufacturer at the request of the consumer.

2.2. The transparency of edible animal rendered fats in units of the photoelectric colorimeter scale and the mass fraction of antioxidants are determined only in case of disagreement.

3. PACKAGING, LABELING, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

3.1. Rendered fats for edible animals are packed in wooden jellied barrels with a capacity of 25, 50, 100 and 120 dm3 in accordance with GOST 8777-80; in plywood-stamped barrels according to TU 10.10.739-88, N 1 and 2 type 1 or into cardboard winding drums according to GOST 17065-94; in plank boxes according to the normative and technical document, plywood boxes in accordance with GOST 10131-93, corrugated cardboard boxes in accordance with GOST 13513-86 and cardboard boxes in accordance with GOST 13515-91 with a capacity of not more than 25 kg.

Rendered edible animal fats for export are packed in wooden jellied barrels according to GOST 8777-80 with a capacity of 50, 100 and 120 dm ) kg, 120 dm - (98 ± 0.5) kg.

3.2. Before filling the fat into barrels, boxes, cardboard winding drums, they must be lined with bags made of polymeric film materials or they must be lined on the inside with parchment in accordance with GOST 1341-97 or polymeric materials approved for use by the USSR Ministry of Health.

3.3. Rendered edible animal fats intended for sale in consumer containers are packed in parchment, laminated aluminum foil in accordance with GOST 745-79 in packs with a net weight of 200 and 250 g, in cups made of polyvinyl chloride film with polymer film inserts approved for use by the USSR Ministry of Health, net weight 300, 350 and 400 g, in metal cans according to GOST 5981-88: N 12 - net weight 450 g, N 14* - net weight 2500 g and N 15* - net weight 7000 g, in glass jars according to GOST 5717 -91 type 1-82-500 - with a net weight of 400 and 450 g, and for the Centrosoyuz - in a jar of type 1-82-650 - with a net weight of 600 g.

Net weight deviations during packaging are allowed (200±3), (250±3), (300±3), (350±3.5), (400±4), (450±4.5), (2500±5 ), (7000±5) g.

3.4. Packs, cups with fat are packed in cardboard boxes in accordance with GOST 13515-91, and glass and metal cans with fat are packed in plank boxes in accordance with GOST 13358-84 or corrugated cardboard boxes in accordance with GOST 13516-86.

At the ends, the boxes must be covered with steel packing tape in accordance with GOST 3560-73, 10-15 mm wide. It is allowed to paste over the seams of cardboard boxes formed by longitudinal flaps with adhesive tape on paper basis according to GOST 18251-87, 50-100 mm wide.

3.5. By agreement with the consumer, it is allowed to use returnable metal containers with a capacity of not more than 50 kg, as well as special metal containers, automobile, railway tanks and tanks on trailers. Returnable metal containers must be made of corrosion-resistant material approved for use by the USSR Ministry of Health.

3.6. Transport marking - according to GOST 14192-96 with additional data:

the name of the manufacturer, its subordination and trademark;

type and grade of fat;

gross and net weights;

production dates;

batch number and serial number of the place (barrel, box);

designations of this standard.

3.7. On consumer packaging (pack, cup or glass jar) must be indicated:

name of the manufacturer, his subordination and trademark; or subordination of the manufacturer and its trademark or registration number;

type and grade of fat;

Net weight;

production date;

designation of this standard.

Marking of metal cans - according to GOST 13534-89.

Consumer packaging and its labeling must be colorful.

3.8. Rendered edible animal fats are transported by all means of transport in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods in force for the corresponding type of transport, and in packaged form - according to the rules for the carriage of goods approved by the relevant departments.

3.9. Packaging, labeling, transportation and storage of edible animal rendered fats shipped to the Far North and hard-to-reach areas - according to GOST 15846-79.

3.10. Food animal melted fats are stored in compliance with the regimes and periods of storage established in Table 2.

3.12. Depending on the quality of edible animal rendered fats stored in the refrigerator, the shelf life indicated in Table 2 can be extended by the production and veterinary control department or the veterinary service of the enterprise.

3 Technical requirements

3.1 Edible fat must comply with the requirements of this standard and be manufactured according to technological instructions in compliance with the requirements, technical regulations or regulatory legal acts in force on the territory of the state that adopted the standard.

3.2 Characteristics

3.2.1 Edible fat is produced by rendering or otherwise from the fat-containing raw materials of fish and aquatic mammals.

3.2.2 In the manufacture of edible fat, it is allowed to use food additives in accordance with the requirements or regulatory legal acts in force in the territory of the state that adopted the standard.

3.2.3 In terms of organoleptic, physical and chemical parameters, edible fat must comply with the requirements and standards specified in Table 1.

3.2.4 In terms of safety indicators, edible fat must comply with the requirements of technical regulations or regulatory legal acts in force on the territory of the state that adopted the standard.

3.3 Requirements for raw materials and supplies

3.3.1 Raw materials used for the manufacture of edible fat comply with:

- semi-finished fat from the liver of fish, subcutaneous fat of aquatic mammals - regulatory documents operating in the territory of the state that adopted the standard;

- fish liver, subcutaneous fat of aquatic mammals - to the regulatory documents in force on the territory of the state that adopted the standard;

- drinking water - GOST 2874

- food additives - to the regulatory documents in force in the territory of the state that adopted the standard.

3.3.2 Raw materials and materials, including those purchased by import, used for the manufacture of edible fat, in terms of safety must comply with the requirements,, technical regulations or regulatory legal acts in force on the territory of the state that adopted the standard.

3.4 Marking

3.4.1 Consumer packaging with edible fat is labeled in accordance with GOST 7630, GOST 11771 with an indication of the expiration date.

3.4.2 Transport marking - according to GOST 7630, GOST 14192.

3.4.3 Labeling of edible fat must comply with the requirements or requirements of regulatory legal acts in force in the territory of the state that adopted the standard.

3.5 Packaging

3.5.1 Edible fat is packaged according to GOST 7630:

- in metal cans in accordance with GOST 5981 or regulatory documents in force on the territory of the state that adopted the standard;

- metal flasks according to GOST 5037;

- polyethylene barrels - according to the regulatory documents in force on the territory of the state that adopted the standard;

- glass jars according to GOST 5717.1, GOST 5717.2;

- glass bottles in accordance with GOST 32131 or regulatory documents in force in the territory of the state that adopted the standard;

- bottles made of brown glass or polymeric materials according to the regulations in force in the territory of the state that adopted the standard.

Consumer packaging with edible fat can be packaged in individual carton boxes according to GOST 32096.

3.5.2 Maximum negative deviations of the net content from the nominal quantity in the packaging unit - in accordance with the requirements of GOST 8.579.

3.5.3 Each packaging unit must contain edible fat of one type of consumer packaging and one production date.

3.5.4 It is allowed to use other types of packaging and packaging materials, including those purchased by import or made from imported materials, approved for use in contact with food products and complying with the requirements, technical regulations or regulatory legal acts in force on the territory of the state that adopted the standard , and ensuring the safety and quality of products during transportation and storage.

3.5.5 Packaging and packaging materials used for packaging edible fat must be clean and dry, free from foreign odors and made of materials approved for use in contact with food products and relevant requirements, technical regulations or regulatory legal acts in force in the territory of the state that adopted the standard.

4 Acceptance rules

4.1 Acceptance rules - according to GOST 31339.

4.2 Control of the content of toxic elements, polychlorinated biphenyls, radionuclides, pesticides, microbiological and chemical indicators, indicators of oxidative deterioration (acid number, peroxide number) is carried out in accordance with the procedure established by the manufacturer of the product in accordance with regulatory legal acts in force on the territory of the state that adopted the standard.

The control of dioxin content in edible fat is carried out in cases of a reasonable assumption about their possible presence in raw materials.

4.3 The frequency of determining the indicators "Mass fraction of water and non-fat impurities", "Mass fraction of non-fat impurities", as well as "Net weight" is set by the manufacturer in the production control program.

5 Control methods

5.1 Sampling methods - according to GOST 31339.

Sample preparation for determination:

GOST 7631, GOST 7636;

- toxic elements - according to GOST 26929;

- microbiological indicators - according to GOST 31904.

5.2 Control methods:

- organoleptic, physical and chemical indicators - according to GOST 7631, GOST 7636;

- toxic elements - according to GOST 26927, GOST 26930, GOST 26932, GOST 26933,;

- radionuclides - according to GOST 32161, GOST 32163.

6 Transport and storage

6.1 Transport

6.1.1. Edible fat is transported by all means of transport in accordance with the rules for the transportation of perishable goods in force on this type of transport, subject to the requirements for the conditions of its storage.

6.2.2 The recommended shelf life from the date of manufacture at a temperature not exceeding 10 ° C is not more than 12 months:

- for edible fat without antioxidant for industrial processing;

- edible fat with an antioxidant for industrial processing, food purposes and obtaining biologically active food supplements.

3Technical requirements

3.1 General requirements

3.1.1 Edible rendered animal fats, depending on the processed raw materials and the quality of the products, are divided into types and varieties: beef, mutton, pork, horse, bone, combined (they are not divided into varieties).

3.1.2 Edible rendered animal fats must comply with the requirements of this standard and must be manufactured according to the technological instructions * in compliance with the requirements, or established by regulatory legal acts in force on the territory of the state that adopted the standard.
