He looked up and saw a multitude of skyscrapers - so tall that they could not see the end of them in a cloudless sky. The whole land was covered with grass, flowers and other green spaces, there were no roads, squares or cars anywhere. Instead of this vehicles flew high in the sky.

The guest from the past did not understand who exactly he met: an evolved relative or a representative of an extraterrestrial civilization. Mark had only one hour to walk around and observe the reality around him, to finally document his time travel in the photo, as the professor explained to him that in the future, time flows much faster than today, and the traveler will begin to age rapidly. Our hero learned that the city is called Hoverger, and it was the first settlement that humanity rebuilt after great war. Mark met a man who told him all this and said that he was over 300 years old, although he looked no more than 40. Then everything turned black sharply, and our hero instantly returned to his 2008 year.

What if time travel has always existed?

Undoubtedly, this story sounds like pure fiction, and such a photograph can be faked without much difficulty (by the way, why one, and not a whole series?) But what if all this is true? Let's imagine for a second that tomorrow a real person will appear who has really been in the future and who has seen the world of our descendants with his own eyes. How will we react to his words about what life will be like on Earth after many millennia? Shall we treat him with the same 100% skepticism and call him a liar or a lunatic? Will our disbelief play a very cruel joke with us someday, leaving us without valuable information about the future?

What if time travel has always existed? After all, academic science does not recognize the yeti, and ghosts, and the afterlife, nevertheless they exist. And there are a lot of cases when people or people from the distant past, from parallel worlds, but who recognizes all this and really studies it? Units, which at best are considered dreamers and eccentrics. So not everything in this matter (in particular, with a time machine) is as simple as it seems (as we were inspired from early childhood) ...

So the Canadian Museum (Bralorne Pioneer Museum), located in the province of British Columbia, posted this photo on its website as part of the exhibition "Their Past Lives Here", where the photo, dated 1941, captures the opening of the bridge, which was rebuilt after another flood.

Many Internet users saw one of the participants as a tourist from the future: the guy looks clearly unusual - he is given away by his haircut, T-shirt with a printed logo, a fashionable sweater, a portable camera and 21st-century sunglasses.

The photo was reviewed by experts. Subjected to computer analysis, which, by comparing the background and a suspicious object, allows you to determine whether Photoshop was used. No traces of imprinting were found. That is, this youngest man was indeed among the crowd at the time of shooting.

Although, for example, Kharkov researcher Sergey Petrov claims that:

1) on the man’s head and neck there are traces of artificial lightening and shadowing, which contradict the direction of light from the sun to others. This is indicated by vertical pixel lightening on the neck, as well as pixel darkening of the left temple on the head, where there should be no shadow from the ear at all, given the direction of the light source, since there are no shadows from the ears in front-standing men with identical head positions.

2) on the body, in the neck area, the man has traces of “gluing” this head, but of the same age, based on the model of glasses. This is also indicated by the width and height of the head, which is out of proportion with the body. If we compare a man with people standing next to him, then he violates the rules of the geometry of shooting optics, which should apply to everyone and his head should have had a trapezoidal shape, and not a regular oval.

But suppose, nevertheless, that the picture is real.

Incredulous skeptics began to consider young man through a magnifying glass, still trying to find signs of compliance with 1940. Camera? The Kodak company, for example, already produced quite portable models at that time - folding ones, in which the lens extended like an accordion. It seems that in the hands of the "traveler" something similar.

This camera model was identified as a Super-Ikonta folding medium-format rangefinder camera, which was manufactured by Carl Zeiss in Germany from 1934 to 1936.

Subsequently, on the basis of the Zeiss Ikonta apparatus, cameras of the Moscow series were created in the 1950s. In this photo, a man can be seen holding the open cover of a folding camera lens with his left hand, identical to the release of models of the 1920-1930s.

An insurmountable difficulty was caused by a T-shirt - obviously cotton and with a printed emblem. No analogues were found at that time. There were only sweaters, again knitted and with sewn emblems.

However, this shape of the "M" is similar to the Letterman jackets that were popular in the 1940s and 1960s during the development of American football, basketball, and baseball. The term Letterman (Letterman, from the word letter - letter) comes from the practice of rewarding each participant in the event with a letter of fabric, which usually indicated belonging to a certain educational institution and placed on a sweater or sports jacket.

Sunglasses... Of course, men almost never wore them 70 years ago. And if they did, they didn't. Although there are claims that this model of sunglasses was already sold in 1940 by French or Italian manufacturers, as it was seen by other users of this accessory in other black and white photographs. This is supported by a July 1940 photo of actress Yvonne Angarola wearing identical sunglasses, similar to the man's.

Hot summer 2010 virtual exhibition The Canadian Museum posted a photograph from the opening ceremony of the new bridge, which took place in 1940 in the Canadian province with the strange name of British Columbia. An ordinary event, a black-and-white picture, if not for a man, in which site visitors saw something unusual. Rather, the man was ordinary, but the clothes and accessories did not coincide with the fashion of the early fifties of the twentieth century. Hairstyle, dark glasses, portable camera, modern trendy sweater and T-shirt emblem. The Internet community immediately divided into two camps. The sharpheads claimed that a time traveler happened to be in the frame. The dumb ones said: “Don't make fun of our slippers. Well, a beatnik (punk in our opinion) got into the frame, so what? After several journalistic investigations, conversations with local residents, computer analysis of the image and numerous other body movements, an unambiguous conclusion was made.
