Order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated September 27, 2016 No. 2026-r. The Energy Efficiency and Energy Development Forum ENES has changed its name and concept and since 2017 has been transformed into the largest business event in the energy sector in the country - the Russian Energy Week Forum (REW), dedicated to analyzing trends in the global fuel and energy complex, on an annual basis.
The purpose of the Forum is to demonstrate the prospects of the Russian fuel and energy complex and realize the potential of international cooperation. The main directions of the business program of the Forum were determined: development of the gas, oil, coal industries, nuclear industry, petrochemistry, electric power industry, as well as energy conservation and energy efficiency.
In 2018, the Forum was attended by over 9,500 people, of which more than 3,000 were participants of the Youth Day of the Forum and about 3,000 were representatives of Russian and foreign businesses, including employees of 700 companies from Russia and 200 companies from 66 other countries, including Austria, Azerbaijan, Angola, UK, Vietnam, Germany, Denmark, Indonesia, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Cyprus, China, Libya, Luxembourg, Nigeria, Netherlands, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, USA, Finland, France, Switzerland and Japan. More than 400 Russian and 38 foreign companies were represented by the heads.
The main program of the Forum included 67 events in various formats, such as a plenary session, panel sessions, round tables, lectures, meetings of industry experts, etc. 471 speakers took part in the business program of the Forum. 12 exhibitors of the industry exhibition presented advanced developments and achievements in the field of fuel and energy complex at their stands. Among them are the companies Gazprom, Rosseti, Novatek, Rosatom, Fortum, RusHydro, Transneft, SIBUR, Rosneft, as well as the Government of Moscow, the Republic of Tatarstan and the prize " Global Energy".

IV International Forum on Energy Efficiency and Energy Development ENES 2015 included an exhibition exposition and more than 40 business events- meetings, discussions, plenary sessions, round tables. More than 11,000 participants have registered for the forum. They worked at 25 plenary sessions, panel discussions, meetings and round tables of the business program of the forum. 41 exhibition stands of Russian and international companies worked for visitors.The 5th International Forum on Energy Efficiency and Energy Development ENES 2016 confirmed the status of the main energy event of the year: 15,992 people visited it in three days. The exhibition exposition of ENES was extensive: Russian and international companies presented the best solutions in the field of energy saving at more than 40 stands. The business program was also rich: more than 40 events took place - plenary sessions, discussions, round tables and meetings.
For the first time, the forum hosted the International Meeting of Mayors on Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Urban Development with the participation of the leaders of more than 20 Russian cities, as well as delegates from Greece, England, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Indonesia and Slovakia.
Several agreements were signed during the forum. In total, about 14 thousand people and 100 partner companies, including world leaders in the energy industry, have registered for ENES-2016. The work of the forum was covered by 700 journalists.

The theme of energy efficiency has become a key one in the exhibition events of the fuel and energy complex, organized by the FAREXPO company. The leading industry project is the international specialized exhibition “Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency. Innovative technologies and equipment 2017" was held in St. Petersburg from November 3 to 6, 2017.
“Energy saving and energy efficiency. Innovative technologies and equipment” is an authoritative platform for the exchange of experience and achievements that play important role in improving the energy efficiency of the economy. The event attracts great attention of industry professionals, promotes the expansion of interaction between business, society and government in order to form and implement large investment projects in the field of energy conservation.
In 2017, many leading companies presented innovative solutions used in both industrial and domestic areas:

October 3-6, 2017 simultaneously with the exhibition “Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency. Innovative Technologies and Equipment 2017” hosted the International Congress “Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency – Dynamics of Development”. Within the framework of the plenary session “Technological renewal of the fuel and energy complex. Innovatika, experts discussed the main issues of technological re-equipment and regulation of the industry, barriers that prevent the introduction of innovations, the development of energy saving mechanisms and energy efficiency, and the main problems of the development of the energy industry were also voiced. Traditionally, the business program of the congress focuses on one of the most important ways to reduce energy losses - the issues of accounting and control of energy resources, contributing to the optimization of their production and consumption. AT current year round table “Control and accounting of energy resources. Ways to improve efficiency”, organized by the consortium LOGIKA-TEPLOENERGOMONTAZH. - heat-reflecting screen for the wall where the heating radiator is installed;
- sealing gaps in window frames and external doorways, using mounting foam or sealing tapes;

Ways to save cooking gas:

- it is recommended to install aluminum spacers on the burners.
Ways to save energy consumption:
- Replacing old-style incandescent lamps with new energy-saving fluorescent ones. Their service life is up to six times longer than older lamps, and energy consumption is reduced by five times.
- Operation of small lamps, sconces and floor lamps when there is no need to use general lighting.
- Disconnecting household appliances from the network if there is no need to use them.
- Do not install a refrigerator next to an electric stove - this will increase energy consumption by 20-30%.
- Boiling in an electric kettle costs exactly as much water as you need to use.
- The rooms of the room should be decorated in light pastel colors, this will reduce the cost of lighting by 10-15%.
Therefore, in order to maintain full-fledged energy saving and further energy efficiency of energy resources in everyday life, it is worth, first of all, installing gas meters and updating electrical devices.
