A tailor lived in a German town. His name was Hans. All day long he sat on the table by the window, cross-legged, and sewed. He sewed jackets, sewed trousers, sewed vests. Here tailor Hans somehow sits on the table, sews and hears - they shout in the street:
- Jam! Plum jam! Who needs jam?
"Jam!" thought the tailor. "Plum jam, too. That's good."
He thought so and shouted out the window:
- Aunt, aunt, come here! Give me some jam.
He bought half a jar of this jam, cut off a piece of bread for himself, smeared it with jam, and began sewing up his vest.
“Here,” he thinks, “I’ll finish my vest and eat jam.”
And in the room at the tailor Hans there were many, many flies - you can’t directly count how many. Maybe a thousand, maybe two thousand.
The flies smelled the smell of jam, and flew into the bread.
- Flies, flies, - the tailor tells them, - who called you here? Why did they attack my jam?
And the flies do not listen to him and eat jam. Then the tailor got angry, took a rag, and as soon as he hit the flies with a rag, he immediately killed seven.
- That's how strong and brave I am! said the tailor Hans. “The whole city must know about it. What a city! Let the whole world know. I'll hide a new belt for myself and embroider on it in large letters: "When I am angry, I kill seven."
And so he did. Then he put on a new belt, slipped a piece of curd cheese into his pocket for the road, and left the house.
At the very gate he saw a bird entangled in the bushes. The bird beats, screams, but cannot get out. Hans caught the bird and put it in the same pocket where he kept the curd cheese.
He walked and walked and finally came to a high mountain. He climbed to the top and sees - a giant is sitting on the mountain and looking around.
- Hello, friend, - the tailor tells him. - Let's go with me to wander around the world.
- What a friend you are! - the giant answers. - You are weak, small, and I am big and strong. Leave while you're still intact.
- Did you see it? - says the tailor Hans and shows the giant his belt.
And on Hans's belt is embroidered in large letters: "When I am angry, I kill seven."
I read the giant and thought: "Who knows - maybe he really strong man. You have to test it."
The giant took a stone in his hands and squeezed it so tightly that water flowed from the stone.
- And now you try to do it - said the giant.
- That's all? - says the tailor. - Well, for me this is an empty business.
He slowly took out a piece of curd cheese from his pocket and clenched it in his fist. From the fist, water poured onto the ground.
The giant was surprised at such strength, but decided to test Hans again. Picked up a stone from the ground and threw it into the sky. He threw it so far that the stone was not visible.
- Come on, - he says to the tailor, - try it like that.
- You throw high, - said the tailor. - And yet your stone fell to the ground. So I'll throw it, so I'll throw a stone right at the sky.
He put his hand in his pocket, grabbed the bird and threw it up. The bird flew high into the sky and flew away.
- What, buddy, what's it like? asks the tailor Hans.
“Good,” says the giant. - But let's see now, can you take down a tree on your shoulders?
He led the tailor to a large felled oak tree and said:
- If you are so strong, then help me carry this tree out of the forest.
- All right, - the tailor answered, and thought to himself: "I am weak, but smart, and you are stupid, but strong. I will always be able to deceive you."
And he says to the giant:
- You only lifted the trunk on your shoulders, and I will carry all the branches and boughs. After all, they will be heavier.
So they did. The giant put the barrel on his shoulders and carried it. And the tailor jumped up on a branch and sat on it astride. The giant drags the whole tree on himself, and even the tailor to boot. But he cannot look back - the branches interfere with him. The tailor Hans rides on a branch and sings a song:
How did our boys go?
From the gate to the garden...

The giant dragged the tree for a long time, finally got tired and said:
- Listen, tailor, I'm going to drop the tree on the ground. I am very tired. Then the tailor jumped off the branch and grabbed the tree with both hands, as if he had been walking behind the giant all the time.
- Oh you! said the tailor to the giant. - So big, but you seem to have little strength.
They left the tree and moved on. They walked and walked and finally came to the cave. There were five giants sitting around the fire, each holding a roasted ram.
“Here,” says the giant who brought Hans, “this is where we live.” Get on this bed, lie down and rest.
The tailor looked at the bed and thought, "Well, this bed is not for me. Too big."
He thought so, found a darker corner in the cave and went to bed. And at night the giant woke up, took a large iron crowbar and hit the bed with a swing.
- Well, - the giant said to his comrades, - now I got rid of this strong man.
All six giants got up in the morning and went into the forest to cut trees. And the tailor also got up, washed himself, combed his hair and followed them.
The giants saw Hans in the forest and got scared. "Well," they think, "if we didn't even kill him with a crowbar, he'll kill us all now."
And the giants fled in different directions.
And the tailor laughed at them and went aimlessly.
He walked and walked and finally came to the fence of the royal palace. There, at the gate, he lay down on the green grass and fell asleep soundly.
And while he was sleeping, the royal servants saw him, leaned over him and read the inscription on his belt: "When I am angry, I kill seven."
- That's how the strong man came to us! - they said. - It is necessary to report to the king about it.
The royal servants ran to their king and said:
- A strong man lies at the gates of your palace. It would be nice to take him to work. If there is a war, we will need it.
The king rejoiced.
- That's right, - he says, - call him here.
The tailor slept, rubbed his eyes and went to serve the king.
He serves one day, serves another. And the royal warriors began to say to each other:
- What good can we expect from this strong man? After all, when he is evil, he kills seven. That's what it says on his belt.
They went to their king and said:
We don't want to serve with him. He'll kill us all if he gets angry. Release us from service.
And the king himself already regretted that he had taken such a strong man into his service. “What if,” he thought, “this strong man will really get angry, he will kill my soldiers, he will cut me to death and sit in my place himself? .. How can I get rid of him?”
He called the tailor Hans and said:
- In my kingdom, two robbers live in a dense forest, and both of them are so strong that no one dares to come close to them. I command you to find them and defeat them. And I give you a hundred horsemen to help you.
- All right, - said the tailor. - When I am angry, I kill seven. And with two robbers, I can handle it jokingly.
And he went into the forest. And a hundred royal horsemen galloped after him.
At the edge of the forest, the tailor turned to the riders and said:
- You horsemen, wait here, and I'll deal with the robbers myself.
He entered the bush and began to look around.
He sees two robbers lying under a large tree and snoring in their sleep so that the branches sway over them. The tailor, without hesitation, took full pockets of stones, climbed a tree and began to throw stones at one robber from above. It will hit him in the chest, then in the forehead. And the robber snores and hears nothing. And suddenly one stone hit the robber on the nose. The robber woke up and pushes his comrade in the side:
- What are you up to?
- What are you! - says another robber. - I don't beat you. You obviously figured it out.
And again they both fell asleep.
Then the tailor began to throw stones at another robber.
He also woke up and began to shout at his comrade:
Why are you throwing rocks at me? Crazy?
Yes, how to hit his friend on the forehead!
And that one is his.
And they began to fight with stones, sticks and fists. They fought until they killed each other.
Then the tailor jumped down from the tree, went out to the edge of the forest and said to the riders:
- The deed is done, both are killed. Well, these thieves are evil! And they threw stones at me, and waved their fists at me, but what can they do with me? After all, when I am angry, I kill seven!
The royal horsemen rode into the forest and saw: surely, two robbers were lying on the ground. They lie and do not move - both are killed.
The tailor Hans returned to the palace to the king.
And the king was cunning. He listened to Hans and thinks: "Okay, you coped with the robbers, but now I will set you such a task that you will not stay alive with me."
“Listen,” the king says to Hans, “now go back to the forest, catch the ferocious unicorn beast.”
- If you please, - says the tailor Hans, - I can do it. After all, when I am angry, I kill seven. So with one unicorn I can lively cope.
He took with him an ax and a rope and again went into the forest.
The tailor Hans did not have to look for a unicorn for long - the beast itself jumped out to meet him, terrible, fur on end, horn sharp as a sword.
The unicorn rushed at the tailor and was about to pierce him with his horn, but the tailor hid behind a thick tree. The unicorn, with a running start, planted its horn into the tree. He rushed back, but he could not pull it out.
“Now you won’t leave me!” said the tailor, threw a rope around the unicorn’s neck, cut its horn out of wood with an ax and led the beast on a rope to his king.
Brought the unicorn straight to the royal palace.
And the unicorn, as soon as he saw the king in a golden crown and a red robe, sniffed and croaked. His eyes were filled with blood, his hair stood on end, his horn sticks out like a sword. The king was frightened and rushed to run. And all his warriors are behind him. The king fled far, so far that he could not find his way back.
And the tailor began to live in peace and live, sewing jackets, pants and vests. He hung the belt on the wall and saw no more giants, robbers, or unicorns in his lifetime.

Fairy tale Brave little tailor

brothers grimm

Tale Brave little tailor summary:

The tailor smeared jam on bread, intending to have a snack after work. The flies, attracted by the smell, settled on the piece. The tailor saw this and killed seven flies with one blow. He liked it so much that he immediately sewed himself a belt on which it was written: "When I am angry, I kill seven." And so that the whole world would know about it, the tailor decided to go on a journey. He took with him a piece of cheese, a bird he had saved from a snare, and he went wherever his eyes looked.

His giant met on the way, they began to measure their strength, the giant squeezed a drop of water out of the stone, and the brave man squeezed the cheese in his hand - the juice poured out, the opponent threw the stone into the sky, they barely waited back, and the cunning bird launched into the sky, she flew away . The giant was surprised at such strength, and called the tailor to visit. They came to a huge cave, a new comrade and offered the brave man his bed. But the daredevil, don't be stupid, climbed into a corner. The giant got up at night and hit the bed with a club. In the morning, seeing a living guest, the giant and his friends ran away from such a strong man.

After that, a cunning tailor entered the service of the royal palace, but other royal warriors did not want to serve next to such a strong man, and the king had to come up with a tailor such a service that he could not handle. First, he ordered the brave man to rid the kingdom of a pair of giants, promising half the kingdom and his daughter as a wife as a reward. The tailor found the giants, and they sleep peacefully. Then the cunning one began to throw stones at them, they woke up, and, blaming each other, began to fight. They fought until they killed each other.

Then the king ordered the strong man to bring a unicorn to him, otherwise he would not see a reward. A brave tailor brought a unicorn, then caught a boar. And the king had to give him half the kingdom, and the princess as his wife.

The princess heard her husband talking in his sleep, and realized that he was a simple tailor. She complained to her father, he said that she should open the door at night, and his servants would be ready, they would twist him sleepy and onto the ship and load him.
But a devoted man warned the tailor, and when his wife opened the door, he, pretending to be asleep, began to list his exploits. The servants fled in fear, and no one else tried to get rid of the brave tailor, and he ruled his kingdom until death came.

Tale of the Brave little tailor read:

Once upon a time there was a tailor. Once he was working in his workshop at the table and suddenly heard a woman's voice in the yard.

- Jam, I sell jam!

The tailor looked out of the window and shouted:
“Come here, dear woman. I will buy your jam.

The merchant picked up a heavy basket, climbed the steep steps to the tailor's workshop and laid out her jams and marmalade in front of him. The tailor opened all the jars in turn and sniffed their contents.

Finally he said:
I'll take three spoonfuls of this.

The merchant was disappointed that he took so little, but nevertheless measured out the measure and went home.

The tailor smeared jam on a piece of bread and put it on the table.

"I'll finish this shirt and then I'll eat it," he said to himself.
Flies soon flocked to the smell of jam.

— Let's go away! cried the tailor. But the flies did not understand his words and continued to circle over the jam.
The angry tailor waved a rag at them and seven dead flies fell to the floor.

- Just seven. Unprecedented business! - exclaimed the little tailor. - Everyone in the world should know about it.

He made himself a leather belt with the inscription: IN ONE STROKE OF SEVEN BEATS. The tailor put on his new belt and went around the world. And in order not to get hungry, he put a piece of cheese in his pocket. I found a bird in the yard and also put it in my pocket.

On the outskirts of the city, the tailor met a terrible giant.

“Hello,” said the tailor. “I travel the world in search of wealth. Would you like to keep me company?

The giant just laughed.
“You must be out of your mind, poor little one.

This little tailor was hurt to the core:
“Look at my belt, then you will know who I am.”
The giant read the inscription and thought that the tailor had killed seven people. However, he could not believe that such a frail-looking little man could be such a strong man. The giant decided to test the tailor. He grabbed a stone and squeezed it so that water flowed from the stone.

“You won’t be able to do it,” he said to the tailor.
The tailor took a piece of cheese out of his pocket and squeezed it so that whey flowed from the cheese.
However, this did not convince the giant. He grabbed a stone and threw it far, far away.

“Try it,” said the giant.
“Not bad,” agreed the tailor. “But notice that the stone still fell to the ground. - With these words, he pulled a bird out of his pocket and threw it into the sky. The bird rejoiced at freedom and disappeared into the sky.

“But if you are such a strong man, help me lift this tree,” said the giant, pointing to a huge oak tree.
“With pleasure,” replied the little tailor. - You take hold of the trunk, and I will carry the branches, because there are much more of them and they are heavier.

The giant walked ahead and did not notice that the tailor sat down among the branches.
Soon the giant said:
I'm tired and need to rest for a minute.
The little tailor quickly jumped down from the tree, grabbed the branches and pretended that he was carrying the tree with the giant.
“It seems that you are not so strong as you think,” said the little tailor.
They went on until they saw a cherry tree strewn with berries. The ripest cherries were at the top, and the giant tilted the tree so that the tailor could pick them.

But when the little tailor grabbed the top, the tree suddenly straightened up and the little tailor flew over to the other side in one fell swoop.
- Me too. You can’t even hold a twig,” said the giant.
“Of course I can,” said the little tailor. - I jumped over the tree on purpose. Come on, try it. Let's see if we can.

The giant tried to jump, but with one foot he got tangled in the branches. At this time, the king and his retinue were passing by.
- What's going on here? - he asked.
“Nothing special, Your Royal Highness,” the tailor replied. “I just caught a giant.

For many years the giant annoyed the locals and the grateful king gave the tailor a bag of gold as a reward.
The news about how the brave little tailor caught the terrible giant immediately spread throughout the world. So the tailor became famous and got rich. And he began to live, live and make good.

A tailor lived in a German town. His name was Hans. All day long he sat on the table by the window, cross-legged, and sewed. I sewed jackets, sewed pants, sewed vests.

Here the tailor Hans somehow sits on the table, sews and hears - shouting in the street:

Jam! Plum jam! Who needs jam?

"Jam! thought the tailor. - Yes, even plum. This is good".

He thought so and shouted out the window:

Aunt, aunt, come here!

Flies, flies, - the tailor tells them, - who called you here? Why did they attack my jam?

And the flies do not listen to him and eat jam. Then the tailor got angry, took a rag, and as soon as he hit the flies with a rag, he immediately killed seven.

That's how strong and brave I am! said the tailor Hans. The whole city needs to know about this. What a city! Let the whole world know. I’ll hide a new belt for myself and embroider on it in large letters: “When I’m angry, I kill seven.”

And so he did. Then he put on a new belt, slipped a piece of curd cheese into his pocket for the road, and left the house.

At the very gate he saw a bird entangled in the bushes. The bird beats, screams, but cannot get out. Hans caught the bird and put it in the same pocket where he had curd cheese.

He walked and walked and finally came to a high mountain. He climbed to the top and sees - a giant is sitting on the mountain and looking around.

Hello, friend, the tailor says to him. - Come with me to travel the world.

What a friend you are! - answers the giant. - You are weak, small, and I am big and strong. Leave while you're still intact.

Did you see this? - says the tailor Hans and shows the giant his belt.

And on Hans's belt is embroidered in large letters: "When I am angry, I kill seven."

I read the giant and thought: “Who knows, maybe he really is a strong person. You have to test it."

The giant took a stone in his hands and squeezed it so tightly that water flowed from the stone.

And now you try to do it, - said the giant.

Only and everything? says the tailor. - Well, for me it's empty.

Come on, - he says to the tailor, - try it like that.

You are throwing high, said the tailor. - And yet your stone fell to the ground. So I'll throw it, so I'll throw a stone right at the sky.

He put his hand in his pocket, grabbed the bird and threw it up. The bird flew high into the sky and flew away.

What, buddy, what's it like? asks the tailor Hans.

Not bad, - says the giant. - Now let's see if you can carry a tree on your shoulders?

He led the tailor to a large felled oak tree and said:

If you are so strong, then help me carry this tree out of the forest.

All right, - the tailor answered, and thought to himself: “I am weak, but smart, and you are stupid, but strong. I can always deceive you."

And he says to the giant:

You only lifted the trunk on your shoulders, and I will carry all the branches and boughs.

How did our guys go?
From the gate to the garden...

The giant dragged the tree for a long time, finally got tired and said:

Listen, tailor, I'm about to drop the tree to the ground. I am very tired.

Then the tailor jumped off the branch and grabbed the tree with both hands, as if he had been walking behind the giant all the time.

Oh you! said the tailor to the giant. - So big, but you seem to have little strength.

Here, - says the giant who brought Hans, - here we live. Get on this bed, lie down and rest.

The tailor looked at the bed and thought:

“Well, this bed is not for me. Too big."

He thought so, found a darker corner in the cave and went to bed. And at night the giant woke up, took a large iron crowbar and hit the bed with a swing.

Well, - said the giant to his comrades, - now I got rid of this strong man.

All six giants got up in the morning and went into the forest to cut trees. And the tailor also got up, washed himself, combed his hair and followed them.

The giants saw Hans in the forest and got scared. “Well,” they think, “if we didn’t even kill him with a crowbar, now he will kill us all.”

And the giants fled in different directions.

And the tailor laughed at them and went aimlessly.

He walked and walked and finally came to the fence of the royal palace. There, at the gate, he lay down on the green grass and fell asleep soundly.

And while he was sleeping, the royal servants saw him, leaned over him and read the inscription on his belt: “When I am angry, I kill seven.”

That's how the strong man came to us! they said. - We must report to the king about it.

The royal servants ran to their king and said:

A strong man lies at the gate of your palace. It would be nice to take him to work. If there is a war, we will need it.

The king rejoiced.

That's right, - he says, - call him here. The tailor slept, rubbed his eyes and went

serve the king.

He serves one day, serves another. And steel

royal warriors say to each other:

What good can we expect from this strong man? After all, when he is angry, he kills seven. That's what it says on his belt.

They went to their king and said:

We don't want to serve with him. He'll kill us all if he gets angry. Release us from service.

And the king himself already regretted that he had taken such a strong man into his service.

“And suddenly,” he thought, “this strong man will really get angry, he will kill my soldiers, he will cut me to death and sit in my place himself? .. How can I get rid of him?”

He called the tailor Hans and said:

In my kingdom, two robbers live in a dense forest, and both of them are so strong that no one dares to come close to them. I command you to find them and defeat them. And I give you a hundred horsemen to help you.

All right, said the tailor. - When I am angry, I kill seven. And with two robbers, I can handle it jokingly.

And he went into the forest. And a hundred royal horsemen galloped after him.

At the edge of the forest, the tailor turned to the riders and said:

You horsemen, wait here, and I will deal with the robbers myself.

What are you up to?

What are you! says the other robber. - I don't hit you.

The deed is done, both are killed. Well, these thieves are evil! And they threw stones at me, and waved their fists at me, but what can they do with me? After all, when I am angry, I kill seven!

The royal horsemen rode into the forest and saw:

Surely, two robbers are lying on the ground. They lie and do not move - both are killed.

The tailor Hans returned to the palace to the king.

And the king was cunning. He listened to Hans and thinks: “Okay, you coped with the robbers, but now I will set you such a task that you will not stay alive with me.”

Listen, the king says to Hans, now go back to the forest, catch the ferocious unicorn beast.

If you please, - says the tailor Hans, - I can do it.

Now you won't leave me! - said the tailor, threw a rope around the unicorn's neck, cut its horn out of wood with an ax and led the beast on a rope to his king.

The king fled far - so far that he could not find his way back.

And the tailor began to live in peace and live, sewing jackets, pants and vests. He hung the belt on the wall and saw no more giants, robbers, or unicorns in his lifetime.

The Brave Tailor is a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, which is admired by children and adults all over the planet. It tells the story of the tailor Hans. He once killed seven flies with one blow. The tailor admired his skill and decided to tell the whole world about it. He sewed a belt for himself with the words: “When I am angry, I kill seven” and set off. Hans met a giant who did not believe in his strength, but after three trials he became afraid of the tailor. After that, Hans went to the king, and he took him into service. What tests the sovereign has prepared for the tailor, read with the children in a fairy tale. She teaches self-confidence, optimism, determination and quick wit.

And the king was cunning. He listened to Hans and thinks: “Okay, you coped with the robbers, but now I will set you such a task that you will not stay alive with me.”

Listen, the king says to Hans, go back to the forest now, catch the ferocious unicorn beast.

Please, says the tailor Hans, I can do it. After all, when I am angry, I kill seven. So with one unicorn I can lively cope.

He took with him an ax and a rope and again went up the forest.

The tailor Hans did not have to look for a unicorn for long - the beast itself jumped out to meet him, terrible, hair on end, horn sharp as a sword.

The unicorn rushed at the tailor and was about to pierce him with his horn, but the tailor hid behind a thick tree. The unicorn took off running and planted its horn into the tree. He rushed back, but he couldn't pull it out.

Now you won't leave me! said the tailor, threw a rope around the unicorn's neck, hewed its horn out of wood with an ax and led the beast with a rope to his king.

Brought the unicorn straight to the royal palace.

And the unicorn, as soon as he saw the king in a golden crown and a red mantle, sniffed and croaked. His eyes were filled with blood, his hair stood on end, his horn sticks out like a sword.

The king was frightened and rushed to run. And all his warriors are behind him. The king fled far, so far that he could not find his way back.

And the tailor began to live in peace and live, to sew jackets, pants and vests. He hung the belt on the wall and never saw any more giants, robbers, or unicorns in his lifetime.
