In the implementation of exit trade through car dealerships and auto shops the organization may decide to surrender the proceeds from the sale of goods daily without returning the balance of unsold goods. In this case, sellers are set certain deadlines reporting on the availability and movement of goods (from 1 to 10 days). These deadlines are set by the head and chief accountant of the trade organization, depending on the working conditions (clause 2.2.8 of the Methodological Recommendations).

The income part of the commodity report reflects in value terms, the balance of goods as of the date of preparation of the previous commodity report and the receipt of goods and containers by accompanying documents. Each incoming document (source of receipt of goods, number and date of the document, amount of goods received) is recorded separately, the total amount of incoming goods for the reporting period and the total receipt with the balance at the beginning of the period are calculated.

In the expenditure part of the commodity report calculate the total amount of consumption of goods for the reporting period. Each expense document is reflected in a separate line (sale of goods, return of defective goods, transfer of goods).

All receipts and expenditure documents, on the basis of which commodity reports are compiled, are arranged in chronological order, their total number is indicated in the appendix.

The numbering of commodity reports must be sequential from the beginning until the end of the year from the first number. Commodity reports of financially responsible persons who started work not from the beginning of the year are numbered from the beginning of their work.

Retailers prepare commodity reports in technical prices in which they reflect goods. Corrections to the commodity report can be made only upon agreement with the participants in business transactions.
